SEACORP of Middletown, RI Achieves CMMI Level 3 Rating for Development

SEACORP, LLC. (SEACORP), a leading provider of engineering services and technology to the United States Navy, announced today that it has achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) V2.0 Level 3 rating for Development (CMMI-DEV).

CMMI is a proven, outcome-based performance model and the globally accepted standard for improving capability, optimizing business performance, and aligning operations to business goals.

“Achieving CMMI Level 3 along with our ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our company's culture of continuous improvement and focus on the delivery of high-quality, mission-aligned services and solutions to our Department of Defense (DoD) customers,” said Dave Cadorette, President of SEACORP. “We are proud to be recognized for our systems engineering and development capabilities and practices we have in place to reduce risks and improve project performance for our customers.”

An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates SEACORP is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools and methods. SEACORP’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time.
