SEACORP of Middletown, RI Awarded $40.9M Contract for Code 34 Electronic Warfare and Electromagnetic Special Programs

SEACORP, LLC. (SEACORP) of Middletown, RI was awarded a $40.9 million, five-year follow-on contract for Code 34 Electronic Warfare (EW) and Electromagnetic (EM) Special Programs on August 30th. SEACORP will provide engineering services to Code 34 of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport to develop and field special mission EW and special augmentation systems, subsystems, sensors, and associated networks onboard submarines and other platforms such as Unmanned Aerial and Undersea Vehicles (UAV/UUV).

 SEACORP will perform a wide range of engineering and program management functions in support of EW and Communications special programs that augment submarine tactical capabilities. EM Special Programs is responsible for the development and test of prospective systems, in-service engineering support for existing systems, and quick reaction support to the Fleet based upon new and emergent operational requirements. Engineering services provided under this contract will include fleet and operational services, engineering and software development, assembly and fabrication, test and evaluation, configuration management, and program management.
